Yuri Raifeld

Prof. Raifeld has over 35 years of successful senior management experience in healthcare. In a few short years, he grew Raifarm to become the leading professional service provider, consistently recognized for quality, outstanding expertise, and strong ethical character.

Prior to founding Raifarm, Prof. Raifeld served as President and Chief Operating Officer for ClinStar, a leading Russian Clinical Research Organization, which he co-founded and grew to over 200 employees in Russia, Ukraine, and the US. Before ClinStar, Prof. Raifeld worked for seven years at Wyeth in the US, where he oversaw a team of 30 researchers who successfully developed and patented a new type of RSV inhibitors.

Before starting his career in business, Prof. Raifeld founded and headed a laboratory for total synthesis of biologically-active compounds at Moscow Institute of Fine Chemical Technology (MIFCT). He has published extensively in Russian and international scientific journals, with over 120 articles and reviews and 20 patents to his name.

Prof. Raifeld received his M.S., Ph.D., and Dr. Sci. degrees from MIFCT.

Dmitry Dmitriev

Chief Operating Officer

Dr. Dmitriev used his over 25 years of leadership experience in the Russian pharmaceutical industry to establish a solid foundation at Raifarm and continue to develop and grow the company.

Before joining Raifarm, Dr. Dmitriev headed PharmaNet’s Russian office, as Director of Clinical Research, supervising a team of 35 professionals in Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Novosibirsk. Before that, he was head of clinical operations for Pfizer in Moscow. Consistently recognized for his managerial strength, he was awarded Best Team Leader, Pfizer Russia.

Dr. Dmitriev taught for nine years at Russian State Medical University, ultimately reaching Associate Professor of Medicine. He has extensive experience as a practicing cardiologist and is responsible for over 40 publications, one monograph, and five patents.

Dr. Dmitriev received his M.D. and Ph.D. degrees from Russian State Medical University, and has an MBA from the UK’s Open University.

Alexey Cherpakov

Chief Marketing Director

Dr. Cherpakov has worked in Russia’s pharmaceutical industry for over 20 years. While at Raifarm, he has successfully managed numerous marketing, market access, and commercialization projects – across a number of therapeutic areas.

Before joining Raifarm, Dr. Cherpakov was a team leader of oncology business at Pfizer’s Moscow office. Prior to that, he held a variety of marketing positions at Ipsen and Pharmacia & Upjohn, gaining extensive experience in endocrinology, oncology, neurology, ophthalmology, and antibacterial chemotherapy.

Dr. Cherpakov received his M.D. degree from Moscow Medical University.

Elena Kabaeva

Dr. Kabaeva has outstanding experience in Russian regulatory affairs. During her time with Raifarm, she has advised on over 100 registration submissions, taking the lead on the most challenging and complex regulatory assignments and always delivering results for the client. Her expertise in Russian and other CIS regulatory processes makes Dr. Kabaeva an unrivalled authority in the field.

Before joining Raifarm, Dr. Kabaeva worked as a Medical Officer at ClinStar, providing full regulatory support, and as an expert at the Pharmacological Committee of Russian regulatory authorities.

Dr. Kabaeva’s extensive clinical background includes over 20 years as an Associate Professor at Moscow Medical Academy’s Department of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Kabaeva received her M.D. and Ph.D. degrees from Moscow Medical University.

Ekaterina Belozerova

Regulatory Director

Dr. Belozerova handles multiple regulatory projects at Raifarm, successfully managing complex registrations of even the most challenging molecules.

Dr. Belozerova has over 25 years of experience in regulatory affairs. Prior to joining Raifarm, she worked at Novartis, Pfizer, Wyeth, and Ranbaxy, where she occupied various management positions in the regulatory field.

Dr. Belozerova received her Ph.D. degree in Bio-organic Chemistry from Lomonosov Moscow State Academy of Fine Chemical Technology.

Alexey Stepanov

Head of Medical Device Regulatory Department

Alexey has medical doctor degree and more than 15 years’ experience in regulatory affairs for medical devices and IVDs in Russia and Eurasian countries.

Before joining Raifarm Alexey has been working on different regulatory and quality roles in global medical device manufacturers (Abbott, Stryker, Dentsply).

Alexey is certified by RAPS (Regulatory Affairs Professional Society), he is an author of the blog about Russian and Eurasian medical device regulations www.medicaldevicesinrussia.com, active participant and speaker on Russian and international regulatory conferences/seminars.

Anastasia Kataeva

Associate Director of Regulatory Affairs Department

Ms. Kataeva has over eight years of experience in regulatory affairs and is responsible for number regulatory projects at Raifarm. Furthermore, Ms. Kataeva is carrying of mock-audits for foreign manufacturing plants in according to Russian GMP rules (Order No. 916), provides consulting during Russian official inspections.

She has outstanding experience in preparation of registration dossiers, in compliance with applicable regulations in Russia, a vast knowledge of Russian regulatory requirements and guidelines for registration of medical products and consulting in GMP issues.

Ms. Kataeva received her M.S. degree in Chemical Technology of synthetic biologically active substances from Mendeleyev University of Chemical Technology of Russia, Moscow.

Anna Pushkareva

Regulatory Affairs Manager

Anna has many years of experience in regulatory affairs. At Raifarm, she manages projects related to registration, registration renewal, and variations implementation of chemico-pharmaceutical and immunobiological drugs. In addition, she is responsible for projects related to organization and support of GMP inspections.

Anna received her Ph.D. and MS degree from Lomonosov Moscow State Academy of Fine Chemical Technology.

Violetta Zaytseva

Pharmacovigilance and Regulatory Specialist

Violetta has been working in the pharmaceutical industry for more than nine years and has been with Raifarm since 2014.

Her responsibilities include the provision of a pharmacovigilance system, registration of prices, and full administrative support in the preparation of a dossiers for registration or modification of drug documentation. Violetta is also responsible for the importation and preparation of the supply of medicines for pharmaceutical examination.

Violetta graduated from the Russian Chemical and Technological University n.a. D.I. Mendeleyev, with a specialization in High-Molecular Compound Engineering.
